How it works

  1. Show us what you pay for today

A list of every vendor, tool and ad account, plus last year's job count and average ticket. That is enough for a first read of where the money goes.

  2. Get a plan and a scorecard

We turn it into a one-page plan, a monthly budget by channel and a short scorecard, then agree who does what and by when.

  3. Talk to a person, not a funnel

One direct conversation about your company and its numbers. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Services

Marketing management services for HVAC companies

Most HVAC companies with three to thirty trucks don't have a marketing manager. They have an owner who signs the agency invoices, a dispatcher who answers the phones, an ads account someone set up years ago, and a website nobody wants to touch. HVAC.Management fills that empty seat. We act as your marketing manager on a part-time basis: one senior person who owns the plan, the budget, the vendors and the numbers, and who answers to you.

Think of us as a marketing and business consulting service with a management focus. We aren't an HVAC contractor and never send anyone to install or fix a system. Our only job is to make the money you spend on marketing easier to see and harder to waste.

The seat nobody is sitting in

The gap in most HVAC companies isn't a missing tactic. It is a missing owner of marketing, the person who decides what the money is for and checks whether it worked.

Here is what that gap usually looks like when we first look under the hood:

  • Three or four vendors, each sending its own monthly summary, none of which agree on how many leads came in.
  • Google Ads and the Google Business Profile owned by a former employee's login or an old agency.
  • No way to tell a furnace replacement call from a warranty question in the numbers.
  • Spending that follows the vendor's calendar, not the heating and cooling season.
  • An owner spending a few evenings a month on marketing decisions with no time to do them well.

A full-time marketing manager would fix this, but a 10-truck company rarely has a full-time job's worth of marketing work. A fractional manager gives you the senior judgment for the hours you actually need. Our guide to choosing between a hire, a fractional manager and an agency walks through that decision with numbers.

What we take off your desk

We take the coordination, the checking and the paperwork of marketing, and leave you the decisions that only an owner should make.

Area What we do What you still decide
Planning Build the annual and seasonal plan and monthly budget How much to invest and which jobs you want more of
Vendors Brief, check and hold vendors accountable Whether to keep, change or add a vendor
Measurement Run the monthly review and scorecard What the numbers mean for hiring and trucks
Accounts Audit who owns what and fix the gaps Who on your team holds admin rights

A quick piece of maths worth doing tonight

Before you talk to anyone, work out your cost per booked job for last month. It is the single number that tells you whether marketing is paying.

Take one channel, say Google Ads. Suppose you spent $4,000 last month, the account produced 80 calls, 50 of them were real service or replacement enquiries, and your team booked 25. Your cost per booked job is $4,000 ÷ 25 = $160. If your average ticket on those jobs is $900 and your gross margin is 45%, each booked job is worth about $405 in gross profit, so that channel is paying for itself more than twice over. If you booked only 8, the cost per booked job is $500 and the same channel is losing money.

Most owners can't do this calculation because the calls aren't tracked, or the booked jobs aren't tagged by source. Fixing that is usually the first month of our work. Our monthly scorecard guide shows the full template.

Results from our HVAC marketing work

Our case studies come from marketing work for real HVAC companies, named and linked, so you can look at each one yourself.

None of those results is a promise for your company. Each one depended on the market, the offer and the team answering the phone. The results page explains what each case shows and what you can reasonably take from it.

Frequently asked questions

What is HVAC.Management?

HVAC.Management is a Canadian fractional marketing management service for HVAC and heating companies. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it from our Vancouver, BC headquarters, and it belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. We manage marketing for HVAC businesses; we are not a contractor and never install or repair equipment.

What does a fractional marketing manager actually do?

The same job as a full-time marketing manager, in fewer hours: set the plan and budget, brief and check vendors, keep tracking honest, run a monthly review and make the calls on what to stop, start or fix. You keep the decisions on spending; we do the preparation and follow-through.

Will you replace our current agency?

Not by default. If your SEO, ads or web vendor is doing good work, our job is to brief them better and measure them fairly. If the numbers show a vendor isn't earning its fee, we'll show you why and help you decide what to do.

How much does it cost?

Engagements are priced on the HVAC.Agency plans, which start at $2,998 per month plus GST/HST by province for Canadian clients. You can try the work first: a 7-day free trial, no credit card required, and no lock-in after it.

Do you work with companies outside BC?

Yes. We work with HVAC and heating companies in every province and territory, consulting by video call or in person as well as by phone, text, email and shared screens. Our region pages cover the regulators, programs and seasons that shape marketing in each one.

Can you promise more leads?

No one honest can. What we promise is a clear plan, numbers you can check yourself, and a straight answer each month about what is working. Our HVAC case studies show what our marketing work has produced for named clients.
